Pulled Turkey

It's the week after Thanks Giving here, hubby is not a fan of turkey dinner, he has a turkey mayo sandwich on the day and that's he done for the year so I have to get creative with left overs and thought I would share and hopefully inspire others!


PULLED TURKEY



INGREDIENTS

3lbs Cooked Turkey Shredded

1 Cup Ketchup

1/4 Cup Brown Sugar

1/4 Cup Vinegar


DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine the seasoning, ketchup, brown sugar and vinegar in a large saucepan.

  2. Bring to a simmer.

  3. Stir in the pulled turkey.

  4. Cook over a low temperature until the turkey is heated through.

  5. Serve on buns, over nachos, on pizza, with salad; so many options!


I could do an entire blog post on how to use pulled chicken/ pork/ turkey etc..... hmmm... watch this space, it just may be coming up in the near future!
